Help Required, High School Volunteer hours available

Do you have a little time to give back to the the Etobicoke baseball community?

Are you a student looking for volunteer hours before you graduate?

Have we got an offer for you.

Bloordale Baseball and the Etobicoke Baseball Association are looking for help with some upcoming City Championship tournaments. We are looking for people to serve as on-site convenors and help with field maintenance. Convening is really an admin job (coin toss, collect umpire money, baseballs, handle paperwork, report scores,  etc.) You will have a complete support network should anything happen and you have questions. We provide a binder with all the info and supplies you need in one well-organized place. The grounds crew is a great way for students to collect volunteer high school hours.

We are looking for help the following dates and roles (if you can offer a half day, day, more … any time is welcome and appreciated):

FRIDAY AUG 10

  • Convenor: Smythe Park, 6 and 8:30 pm
  • Grounds Crew: Millwood Park 5:30 and 8 pm
  • Grounds Crew: Queensway South Park 5 and 8 pm

SATURDAY AUG 11

  • Convenor: High Park (all day, half day, evening)
  • Grounds Crew: Carmen Bush (all day, half day, evening)
  • Grounds Crew: Millwood Park (all day, half day, evening)

SUNDAY AUG 12

  • Convenor: Smythe (morning only)
  • Grounds Crew: Millwood Park (all day, half day)

FRIDAY AUG 17

  • Convenor: Don Russel Park 5-8:30 pm
  • Convenor: Millwood Park afternoon and evening

SATURDAY AUG 18

  • Convenor: Don Russel Park 8:30 am – 11:30 am
  • Grounds Crew: Millwood Park (all day, half day)
