Welcome to Bloordale Baseball’s 2015 Season

The Bloordale Baseball Executive would like to welcome back all our returning families to the league and extend and extra special welcome to those families who are joining us for the first time.
We would also like to thank all of our FABULOUS HARD WORKING VOLUNTEERS (convenors, coaches, scorekeepers, field maintenance crews) who work so hard to make Bloordale what it is every year. Without them, we would not be able to run our well-respected community-based baseball league.

As we draw close to our SATURDAY MAY 2 OPENING DAY, our division convenors and coaches have been working hard behind the scenes putting together and balancing teams as best we can in order to maximize all of our player’s on and off field experience. Schedules are likewise being finalized.

If you have not yet heard from your Volunteer Coach or Volunteer Division Convenor, rest assured they will be in touch with your shortly. In the meantime, here is some generic information for you to work with:

All uniforms will be handed out at the park on opening day. Please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early as there is a great deal of organizing to do on opening day.

As soon as division schedules are finalized, they will be posted on appropriate division’s web page (under the Baseball/SloPitch > House League tab on www.bloordalebaseball.com) You can follow your team’s results there all season.

TBall

We have 10 teams this year. All players will have a morning orientation and practice session at Wellsworth Park. The time is to be confirmed. (Maps to all TBall parks can be found HERE) All regular season games will be played at 9 am Saturday AND 6:15 Tuesday nights. If you have any questions, email the convenor at [email protected]

Rookie Ball

We have four teams this year and will interlock with 2 other teams from Forest Glen Baseball. All opening day games will be played at Neilson Park at either 9 am or 11 am. CLICK HERE for Maps to All Rookieball Parks. If you have any questions, email convenor Cameron Summers, [email protected]

Mosquito

We have five teams in the division this year which will allow practice time for two teams each week. Because of the uneven number of teams in the division, 4 out of 5 teams will have a game on May 2. The other will hold a practice. All games will be played at Millwood 2. CLICK HERE for a map to the park. Regular Season games will be played on Mon or Tues, 6:15 pm AND Saturday 9 or 11 am. Practices will be held at Broadacres School on Tues 6:15 pm and Saturday 11 am.
