Rookieball Senior Selects Finalists in OBA Cambridge Tournament

by | May 21, 2013

The Bloordale Rookieball Senior Select team recently spent the better part of the Victoria Day long weekend in Cambridge. In a tournament with Guelph, Georgetown, Royal York and Hamilton our boys ended up making it to the finals before succumbing to the strong team from Hamilton.
What makes this finish even more impressive is the fact this was an OBA AA tournament and our team is registered as a SOBA (select) team. The Hamilton team, which ultimately won the tournament, was a very strong AAA Rookie team.
Much was learned on the diamond and much fun was had on and off the diamond by all. 🙂
The team is looking forward to our next tournament up in Aurora in the middle of June.
