BLOORDALE BASEBALL THANKS THE TORONTO BLUE JAYS FOR MILLWOOD 2 GRANT

by | Apr 14, 2019

As announced on the April 14 Toronto Blue Jay pre-game show, Bloordale Baseball were the recipients of an incredibly generous grant from Jays Care, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays. Bloordale had submitted a request to upgrade the Millwood 2 diamond.  This project was one of fifteen grants awarded to projects across Canada.

The upgrades to Millwood 2 will include new fencing, a new enclosed players’ bench, and a pitcher warm-up area.  These changes are in addition to the improvements already made to Millwood 2 in 2018, which included replacing the clay in the infield and adding new spectator bleachers.

The grant was the culmination of an application process that included many worthy requests from across Canada.  Bloordale Baseball would like to sincerely thank the Toronto Blue Jays for their support of youth baseball across Canada.
