Wanted: Bloordale Baseball social media coordinator

by | Apr 1, 2026

Bloordale is looking for a coordinator to help us improve our social media presence. There are a lot of fun and interesting things happening in our league that we would like to share within our community and beyond. Examples include good tournament performances, playoff victories, or even regular season games with an interesting story to tell.

The commitment is estimated to be about two to three hours a week during baseball season. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills and familiarity with the main social media platforms, along with a knack for creating engaging content. You don’t need to be a baseball expert, but basic baseball familiarity would be needed. Key responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate with league officials, coaches, or team reps to gather content and updates
  • Create and schedule engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter)
  • Post game updates, scores, schedules, weather notices, and league announcements
  • Share photos, short videos, and highlights from games and events
  • Promote registration periods, special events, playoffs, and community initiatives
  • Respond to basic messages and comments in a timely, positive manner
  • Maintain a consistent, family-friendly voice aligned with league values

Bloordale is run solely by volunteers and we’re looking for a passionate community member to help tell our story. If you’re interested in this role, please e-mail [email protected].
