5U Rally Cap

Bloordale Baseball, in partnership with Baseball Canada and the Toronto Blue Jays,  offers the Rally Cap program to introduce baseball to our youngest players and help them begin developing the skills of the game.

5U Rally Cap is a great introduction to baseball for boys and girls aged 4 & 5 as of December 31 of the current baseball season. All you need to bring is a glove, bat, and helmet! The season fees include a jersey, hat, team and individual photos.

The season runs from mid-May to the end of August on Wednesdays from 6-7pm at Broadacres School. This division will provide players with the basic skills by cycling through stations to practice skills and begin playing shorter games later in the season. No previous baseball experience is needed, all are welcome to come out and have some fun.

Please note – parental involvement is required at this level. No previous baseball experience is needed to help coach and instructions will be provided. Bloordale Baseball couldn’t run without the help of its amazing parent volunteers and it’s a great way to support your player’s development and build community amongst the teams.

We also couldn’t run the league without the generous donations of our local sponsors and coaches or sponsors will be placed on the same team as their children.

We will also make every effort to get friends on the same team as we want this to be fun for the kids and playing with a friend, particularly at this early age, can make the experience even more appealing for the kids.
