Construction Alert: Millwood Park

by | Jun 4, 2014

Bloordale Baseball would like to let all of our member families and visiting teams know about some changes and challenges that have moved into Millwood Park

Entera Utilities is working in the neighbourhood for the next six months replacing the underground hydro cables. (download a copy of the letter from the company HERE)

Yesterday morning the company constructed an equipment staging compound in the park close to Silverthorn Bush out beyond the right field home run fence. The compound should not impact any of the games but it will take some space away from those teams who use the area for pre-grame warm-ups or as a make-shift practice area.

In addition, at times heavy equipment may be parked on the south side of Silverthorn Bush, using some of the already limited on-street parking our team families use.

Please allow extra time to find parking near the park during this construction time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
