As announced on the April 14 Toronto Blue Jay pre-game show, Bloordale Baseball were the recipients of an incredibly generous grant from Jays Care, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays. Bloordale had submitted a request to upgrade the Millwood 2 diamond.  This project was one of fifteen grants awarded to projects across Canada. Parking is always at a premium in the area around Millwood #1 and #2.  Parking is available on the south side of the street along Silverthorne Bush Drive and along adjacent streets. We ask all parents, guardians, and other spectators to not park in the parking spots of the apartments next to Millwood #2.  These are the apartments on the corner of Markland Drive and Silverthorne Bush Drive. Brian Walsh Receives Etobicoke Baseball Lifetime Award

During the November 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Etobicoke Baseball Association, long time Bloordale treasurer Brian Walsh received the prestigious EBA Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award. As Brian recalls, in 1998, after each of his three daughters had played with Bloordale, the league put out a call asking for volunteers.  With his background in accounting, Brian thought he would help with the league’s finances.  Brian has been the league’s Treasurer ever since.
