The Bloordale Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday November 27, downstairs at the Canadiana Restaurant (Six Points Plaza).  During this meeting we will have a full review of Bloordale’s baseball operations.  Anyone who would like to learn more about Bloordale Baseball, or possibly become more involved, is welcome to join.  There will be light refreshments at 6:30 PM and the meeting starts at 7 PM.  Please RSVP to [email protected] if you would like to attend.

NEILSON PARK REFURBISHMENT PROJECT COMPLETE

Friday July 19 saw the completion of a major park upgrade at the Neilson Park diamond.  The project, funded entirely by Bloordale Baseball, included the replacement of the old gravel infield with clay, as well as an increase to the playing surface area.  There are also new drop-in bases, a new pitching rubber, and a new home plate. This project will result in a better and more durable playing surface for the players.  The increased size will allow the park …

As announced on the April 14 Toronto Blue Jay pre-game show, Bloordale Baseball were the recipients of an incredibly generous grant from Jays Care, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays. Bloordale had submitted a request to upgrade the Millwood 2 diamond.  This project was one of fifteen grants awarded to projects across Canada. The upgrades to Millwood 2 will include new fencing, a new enclosed players’ bench, and a pitcher warm-up area.  These changes are in addition to …

Parking at Millwood Diamonds

Parking is always at a premium in the area around Millwood #1 and #2.  Parking is available on the south side of the street along Silverthorne Bush Drive and along adjacent streets. We ask all parents, guardians, and other spectators to not park in the parking spots of the apartments next to Millwood #2.  These are the apartments on the corner of Markland Drive and Silverthorne Bush Drive.
